This Privacy Policy explains how Click Media Group Pty Ltd ("we", "us" or "our") handles information when you use the PokeScan mobile application.

Information We Collect

PokeScan does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to provide your name, address or payment card details.

The app may process or receive the following information:

• Camera access: PokeScan uses your device's camera so you can scan and identify trading cards. Camera access is used only when you choose to use the scanning feature.
• App and technical information: Our servers may automatically receive limited technical information when the app requests card data, such as the date and time of the request, IP address, app version and basic device or operating system information.
• Feedback: If you submit feedback through the app, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your comments and limited technical information needed to investigate an issue.
• Purchase information: If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple. We may receive confirmation that a purchase was completed, but we do not receive or store your payment card details.

How We Use Information

We use information only where reasonably necessary to:

• operate the app and provide card information;
• identify and fix technical problems;
• respond to feedback and support requests;
• verify access to purchased app features;
• protect the app and our systems from misuse; and
• understand general app usage and improve the service.

Camera Images and Photos

PokeScan uses your device’s camera to scan and identify trading cards. Image processing is performed on your device and camera images are not uploaded to our servers. We do not use your camera for advertising, tracking or facial recognition.

Photos you choose to scan remain under your control. We do not store, sell or share your camera images.

Advertising and Tracking

PokeScan does not contain third-party advertising and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the app, such as hosting and infrastructure providers. These providers may only use the information as necessary to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to a lawful request, or where reasonably necessary to protect our legal rights, users or systems.

Third-Party Services and Links

PokeScan may display information obtained from third-party data sources or provide links to external websites and marketplaces. Those services operate independently and have their own privacy policies and practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

Data Storage and Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and improve PokeScan, respond to support enquiries, maintain security, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Server records and technical logs may be retained for a limited period for security, troubleshooting and service administration. Feedback may be retained while it remains relevant to the operation or improvement of the app.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, alteration, misuse or loss. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children's Privacy

PokeScan is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not require users to create an account or provide their name, contact details or date of birth.

Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of the app, particularly when following links to third-party websites or marketplaces.

Your Choices

You can disable camera or photo access at any time through your device's privacy settings. Some scanning features may not work without the relevant permission.

You may contact us to ask a question about information you have submitted through the app or to request its deletion. We may need reasonable information to locate and verify the relevant submission.

International Processing

Some service providers used to operate PokeScan may process information in countries outside Australia. Privacy and data protection laws in those countries may differ from Australian laws.
